Le conducteur peut également être produites selon des normes BS, IEC, ASTM, CSA. DIN etc
Les alliages visées ont une résistance supérieure mais plus bas de la conductivité de l’aluminium pur, étant plus légère des conducteurs en alliage peut parfois être utilisés à l’avantage à la place de la plus classique :
